Three sources, three different stories
Normally a closed agent is easy to spot: the site goes dark or posts a notice. ACBuy hasn't been that clear. Here is what each source showed:
| Source | What it showed | Date |
|---|---|---|
| rep.tools status board | Shut down August 2026, owner-confirmed | Verified 31 Aug 2026 |
| acbuy.com | Site loads; no closure notice in the fetched page | 5 Oct 2026 |
| Trustpilot | 4.5 from 975; newest review 30 Jul 2026 | 5 Oct 2026 |
| TikTok creators | Posts claiming ACBuy was shutting down | Spring 2026, undated in search |
The site loading proves little: an app shell can load long after the business behind it stops trading. The two-month gap in reviews fits the closure report. We'd rather say "unclear" than guess, so ACBuy sits on hold on our status list, with a clear instruction: no new money.
When sources conflict, act as if the worse one is true.
Rescuing ACBuy rows
ACBuy rows are common in mixed spreadsheets: in the keyword data we use, ACBuy drew about 22,200 monthly searches in the US and about 18,100 each in Brazil and the UK. The products behind those rows are marketplace listings, and they don't depend on ACBuy.
- Copy an ACBuy row into our converter.
- If it extracts the marketplace address, pick an open agent from the results.
- If it can't read the link, search for the long item number inside your new agent, or run an image search on the row's photo, as described in the Hacoo-to-agent guide.
- Confirm the listing still matches before paying.
Convert the rows; leave ACBuy itself alone.
If ACBuy holds your money or items
- Screenshot your balance, orders, warehouse photos and messages now, while you can still log in.
- Ask support in writing for shipment or a refund, with a date.
- If you paid by card or PayPal inside the dispute window, file a dispute with the screenshots.
- Ignore anyone in chats offering to recover parcels for a fee.
Evidence today, dispute if needed, no side payments.
ACBuy and AllChinaBuy: related or not?
Some sources treat them as sister brands; others, including taobot.io, say they are separate websites with separate accounts. Both had trouble in August 2026: AllChinaBuy's homepage now shows only a maintenance notice blaming a hack. We keep separate pages for them; see AllChinaBuy. For your rows, it makes no difference: both convert the same way.
Related or not, both sets of rows need the same rescue.
What it means for a Hacoo shopper
The ACBuy situation shows the main risk of the agent route: money and items wait in a warehouse, exposed if the agent stops. Hacoo orders don't carry that risk, because you pay and Hacoo ships in one go, with 15 days after delivery for returns. Agents remain worthwhile for bigger, photo-checked hauls, as long as you choose ones marked open and pay per order. Our Hacoo vs agents page explains the trade-off, and our WhatsApp service quotes one delivered price if you'd rather avoid agents for now.
Pay per order and you limit what any agent's troubles can cost you.
Why we don't simply call it closed
Labelling an agent closed tells readers their money is gone and their account is useless; labelling it open invites new deposits. With ACBuy, neither label fits the evidence on 5 October 2026. A directory says the owner confirmed a closure, yet the website still serves pages and we saw no notice. Reviews stopped in late July, which is consistent with a closure but doesn't prove one. "Hold" is our way of saying: don't put money in, but don't abandon what you're owed either. If you have a balance, keep pursuing it in writing and through your payment provider; if you have only spreadsheet rows, move them to an open agent today. We'll change the label when ACBuy either posts a clear notice, stops loading, or shows weeks of normal recent orders in public reviews. Until then, the date at the top of this page tells you how current our view is, and the status list shows every agent we've checked the same way.
Hold means no new money, while still chasing what you're owed.
ACBuy questions
Did ACBuy shut down?
Reports conflict. The rep.tools status board, verified on 31 August 2026, lists ACBuy as shut down in August 2026 and describes it as owner-confirmed. Yet acbuy.com still loaded on 5 October 2026 without a visible closure notice. Its newest Trustpilot review is dated 30 July 2026. Until the picture is clear, treat ACBuy as unsafe for new orders.
Is ACBuy the same as AllChinaBuy?
Sources disagree. One rep.tools comparison page calls ACBuy a sister brand of AllChinaBuy, while taobot.io says they are different websites with separate accounts. We treat them as separate agents with separate pages. Both were troubled in August 2026: AllChinaBuy's homepage shows only a maintenance notice blaming a hack, and ACBuy's closure is reported but unconfirmed by the site.
What should I do with ACBuy spreadsheet rows?
Convert them. ACBuy rows point at Taobao, Weidian or 1688 listings, which any open agent can buy. Paste each row into our converter: where the link contains the marketplace address, it extracts it and gives links for up to 13 agents. Check the chosen agent's status on our list before paying.
I have money or items with ACBuy. What now?
Log in if you can and screenshot your balance, orders and warehouse photos. Contact support in writing and ask for shipment or a refund by a set date. If you paid by card or PayPal and are within the dispute window, open a dispute with your evidence. Ignore offers in chats to recover items for a fee.
Why did ACBuy matter to so many people?
It was widely used: the keyword dataset we use records about 22,200 monthly US searches for ACBuy, with about 18,100 each in Brazil and the UK. Its rows are therefore common in mixed spreadsheets, including some Hacoo lists. That's why converting them, rather than abandoning them, saves many buyers a lot of searching.
