Get the template first, then decide whether you need anyone else's sheet
The quickest route to a Hacoo spreadsheet you can actually edit is to start from a blank, structured file and paste in only the rows you want. Our template is a plain CSV with 12 columns and two example rows. It opens in Excel and Numbers by double-click, and in Google Sheets through File → Import.

Why bother, when creators already publish lists? Because a creator's sheet is theirs: you can't mark which rows you tested, add your size, or delete the dead links that make up a growing share of any list older than a few weeks. A copy you control turns a list of someone else's picks into a shopping list for your own size and budget. If you came here from a Hacoo PDF instead, our page on PDF, Excel and Google Sheet versions explains how long each format stays useful.
Download the template once; every list you find later can be pasted into it.
How creators publish Hacoo sheets, and what each format lets you do
Hacoo lists reach people in three main shapes, and each one limits what you can do with it. The table below sets out what each format allows, as of 12 October 2026.
| Format | How you reach it | Can you edit it? | Best next step |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Sheets, view-only link | Link in a bio, comment or Telegram post | No, unless you copy it | File → Make a copy (needs a Google sign-in) |
| Google Sheets with copying disabled | Same, but the copy and download options are greyed out | No | Copy rows by hand into our template |
| Linktree page of buttons | One "link in bio" with several buttons (men, women, shoes) | Depends on what each button opens | Check each destination before tapping further |
| Download from a post or chat | No; links may not be clickable | Retype the rows you want into the template | |
| Excel file (.xlsx) | Download, less common | Yes | Save a copy and check it with the same tests |
The view-only Google Sheet is the most common format because creators can update it without resharing. That also means the rows you saw yesterday may have changed today. Our guide to Hacoo lists shared on Telegram covers the chat-group route in more detail.
A view-only sheet is fine to browse; a copy is what you shop from.
Making a copy: Google Sheets, Excel and the CSV import
There are three ways to get an editable file, depending on where you start.
- From a creator's Google Sheet: sign in to Google, open the sheet and choose File → Make a copy. Name it with the date, for example "Hacoo list 2026-10-12", and it lands in your own Drive. If Make a copy is greyed out, the owner has switched off copying for viewers.
- From our CSV in Google Sheets: open a blank sheet, choose File → Import → Upload, select the downloaded CSV, set Import location to "Replace spreadsheet" and leave the separator on automatic detection. Google's own help page on importing data sets lists the same steps.
- From our CSV in Excel: double-click the file, then immediately use File → Save As and pick Excel Workbook (.xlsx). A CSV stores values only, so formulas, colours and column widths are lost if you keep saving as CSV. In Numbers on a Mac, opening the CSV creates a Numbers document automatically.
Once the template is open, freeze the first row (View → Freeze → 1 row in Google Sheets; View → Freeze Panes → Freeze Top Row in Excel) so the column names stay visible as you scroll on a small screen. Then delete or overwrite the two example rows, which carry placeholder links to example.com.
Copy, import or save as .xlsx: whichever you choose, keep one master file and date it.
The 12 columns of our template, and why each one is there
Every column answers a question you would otherwise have to ask again at checkout. Here is what each one is for.
| Column | What to enter | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| A · Category | Hoodie, trainers, bag, cap | Lets you sort and filter; split into tabs later if the list grows |
| B · Item name | A short description in your words | Search the app with it when the link dies |
| C · Link | The full URL as copied | Source for the HYPERLINK formula |
| D · Where it opens | Hacoo app (phone only), agent, marketplace | Hacoo links need the app; agent links work on a PC |
| E · Price shown | The number only, e.g. 25.00 | Lets SUM and SUMIF add it up |
| F · Currency | EUR, GBP, USD, CNY | Stops you adding yuan to euros |
| G · Size you need | Your size and the measurement behind it | Asian sizing often runs small |
| H · Seller size chart (cm) | The listing's measurements, copied | Compare with a garment you own |
| I · Buyer photos checked? | Yes / No | Real photos show colour and fabric better than studio shots |
| J · Last checked | A date, e.g. 2026-10-12 | Feeds the "re-check" formula |
| K · Status | Opens / Dead / Sold out / Not checked | Drives the red highlighting |
| L · Notes | Anything else: colour, seller reply, return idea | Your memory, in one cell |
Column D deserves a word. A Hacoo product link has the form hacoo.app/detail/ followed by a number. When we loaded one directly on 12 October 2026, desktop and phone browsers both showed Hacoo's community landing page with an "Open App" button, not the item. So a row marked "Hacoo app (phone only)" is a reminder to open it on the phone that has the app. Rows from agent or marketplace sheets behave differently; our Hacoo links guide explains each link type.
Fill in Price, Currency, Size and Status as a minimum; the rest pays off the first time a link dies.
Formulas worth adding, with the exact text
Four formulas cover almost everything a personal Hacoo list needs. They are written for Google Sheets; all four work the same way in Excel, except that Excel prefers closed ranges such as E2:E500 instead of E2:E.
- Short, tappable links. Long URLs make cells unreadable on a phone. Add a column M with
=HYPERLINK(C2,"Open")and fill it down. Each row then shows one word you can tap. - A basket total. If every row uses one currency,
=SUM(E2:E)adds the Price shown column. Copied lists often mix currencies, so use=SUMIF(F2:F,"EUR",E2:E)for euro rows and repeat it with "GBP", "USD" or "CNY". - A stale-row warning. In column N,
=IF(J2="","",IF(TODAY()-J2>30,"Re-check",""))flags any row not tested for more than 30 days. - A dead-link rate. In a spare cell,
=COUNTIF(K2:K,"Dead")/COUNTA(K2:K)gives the share of rows marked Dead. Format it as a percentage.
Then colour the dead rows. In Google Sheets, select A2:L, open Format → Conditional formatting, choose "Custom formula is" and enter =$K2="Dead" with a red fill. The dollar sign locks the rule to the Status column, so the whole row turns red. In Excel the path is Home → Conditional Formatting → New Rule → "Use a formula to determine which cells to format", with the same formula.
Example: a basket of three rows at example prices of €25.00, €18.50 and €12.00 gives =SUMIF(F2:F,"EUR",E2:E) = €55.50. Hacoo's published basic shipping fee to Spain, Italy, France or Germany is €4.99 per order under 3 kg, so the example order comes to €60.49 before any extra charges.
HYPERLINK, SUMIF and one conditional format rule turn a pasted list into a working tool.
Spotting a Linktree that leads to a paid or locked sheet
Linktree is a page of buttons, and the buttons can point anywhere. Most Hacoo creators use it honestly: one button per category, each opening a Google Sheet. Some buttons, though, lead to a payment page, a "subscribe to unlock" form, a private group, or a sign-in screen. Check where a button goes before you hand over anything.
- Long-press the button on a phone (or hover on a computer) to see the destination address. A free sheet usually starts with docs.google.com.
- A price for the list itself is a red flag. The links are public product pages; a "premium" sheet usually holds the same links, plus a fee.
- A Google sign-in page on an unfamiliar address is a credential trap. A real Google Sheet never asks for your password inside a third-party page.
- "DM for the link" or "pay via a payment app" means money leaves the Hacoo app, where Hacoo's 15-day after-sales window can't help you.
If you want a way to rank whole lists, our 7-point test for Hacoo spreadsheets scores sheets on date, dead links, prices and payment requests.
A free list opens in one tap; anything that wants money or a password first is not a list.
Privacy: what to allow, and what to refuse
A spreadsheet of links needs no add-ons, scripts or extensions. When a shared sheet asks you to "authorise" something, it is asking for access to your Google account, and depending on the permissions that can include your Drive files or Gmail. Refuse it, close the tab and import our CSV instead.
Three more habits keep your data where it belongs:
- Make the copy private. A copy you make starts as private to you; don't switch it to "Anyone with the link" if it holds your sizes, address notes or order numbers.
- Keep personal data out of shared tabs. If you share a list with friends, put sizes and order details on a separate tab you don't share.
- Don't paste card details anywhere in a sheet. Hacoo takes payment inside its app; you never need card numbers in a spreadsheet.
When a row looks good but you would rather not handle the Hacoo app or its return process yourself, our WhatsApp service takes a link or screenshot, quotes one delivered price, sends photos before dispatch, and you pay per order. For turning a Hacoo row into a Taobao or Weidian purchase, see moving a Hacoo find to an agent.
Built-in formulas only, private by default, no card numbers: that is a safe Hacoo sheet.
Google Sheets and Excel questions
Why can't I edit a Hacoo spreadsheet in Google Sheets?
Most creators share their Hacoo sheet as view-only, so nobody can change their rows. You can still get an editable version: sign in to a Google account and use File → Make a copy, which saves the whole file to your own Drive. If that option is greyed out, the owner has disabled copying for viewers. In that case, import our 12-column CSV template and paste in only the rows you care about.
How do I open the Hacoo template in Excel?
Download the CSV and double-click it; Excel opens it with the 12 columns already in place, from Category to Notes. Before adding formulas or colours, use File → Save As and choose the .xlsx format, because a CSV file stores plain values only. If you save back to CSV, every formula and every red 'Dead' row disappears the next time you open it, so keep the .xlsx as your working copy.
Why do Hacoo links in my sheet open a blank landing page?
Hacoo product links look like hacoo.app/detail/ followed by a number. When we loaded one directly on 12 October 2026, both desktop and phone browsers showed Hacoo's community landing page with an 'Open App' button, not the product. The link needs the Hacoo app installed on your phone to reach the item. That is why our template has a 'Where it opens' column: mark these rows 'Hacoo app (phone only)'.
What formula adds up the prices in my Hacoo sheet?
If every row uses one currency, =SUM(E2:E) in Google Sheets adds the whole Price shown column. Most copied lists mix euros, pounds, dollars and yuan, so use =SUMIF(F2:F,"EUR",E2:E) instead, which totals only the euro rows. Repeat it once per currency. Remember that Hacoo adds a basic shipping fee per order, for example €4.99 to Spain, Italy, France or Germany, so the column total is not your final bill.
Is a Linktree full of Hacoo sheets safe to use?
Linktree itself is just a page of buttons; the risk is where each button goes. A free Hacoo list should open as a Google Sheet, a PDF or a Hacoo link, with no payment and no extra sign-in. If a button asks for money, a card number, a subscription or your Google password in an unfamiliar form, close it. Hacoo takes payment through its own app, never through a list owner, so a list never needs your money.
Should I install add-ons that a Hacoo sheet asks for?
No. A spreadsheet of product links needs no add-on, script or extension to work. Anything that asks you to authorise access to your Google account can read your Drive or Gmail, depending on the permissions you grant. Our template uses only built-in functions: HYPERLINK, SUM, SUMIF, COUNTIF, IF and TODAY. If a creator's sheet pops up an authorisation request, close it and make a plain copy or import the CSV instead.
