How a Telegram link channel actually works
Most Hacoo channels run on the same rhythm. The owner scrolls the app, saves products worth posting, and publishes each one as a message: a photo, a short description, sometimes a size note, and a share link that opens the product in Hacoo. Every few weeks the best posts are gathered into a spreadsheet or PDF and pinned at the top of the channel. Google's autocomplete for "links hacoo" shows how much of this is Spanish-language: "telegram zapatillas", "telegram mujer" and "telegram españa" all appear, matching Semrush data where Spain is the largest Hacoo spreadsheet market.
Channel owners usually earn something from your clicks, either through an affiliate or referral scheme or through short links that carry a tracking code. That is not a problem in itself. It does mean the channel has a reason to post a lot, and volume is not the same as quality.
A channel is a stream of finds; its pinned, dated sheet is the part worth saving.
What a trustworthy channel looks like
- One product per post, with the photo from the actual listing rather than a model shot from elsewhere.
- A pinned spreadsheet with a date in its title, updated at least every couple of months.
- Corrections. Good owners mark dead links or delete them; channels that never admit a dead link usually have many.
- No payment requests. Hacoo takes money only inside its app, so a link channel has no reason to ask for yours.
- Size and fit notes drawn from buyer photos in the listing, not just "fits true to size".
Run the five-link test from our Hacoo links guide on the pinned sheet before you subscribe for good. It takes two minutes and tells you more than the channel's subscriber count.
Dated sheet, real photos, visible corrections: three signs a channel is maintained.
Red flags that mean leave the channel
| What you see | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| "Pay to join" by bank transfer or gift card | No way to get money back if the list is worthless |
| Links to a shop that looks like Hacoo but runs in a browser | Hacoo has no web checkout; a browser shop is someone else |
| Requests for card numbers or login codes in chat | Account takeover; Hacoo never needs these from a channel |
| "Order through me, send the money first" | You carry all the risk before seeing any item |
| Pressure: "only 10 minutes left" | Urgency is the oldest trick for skipping checks |
If someone in a group offers to buy for you, the minimum is a written total including delivery, payment per order, and photos before dispatch. That is the standard we hold our own WhatsApp buying service to, and it is roughly what a shopping agent gives you automatically through its warehouse photos.
Any request to pay outside the app or a known service is a reason to leave.
Turning channel posts into a sheet you can use
Telegram's search is weak, so finds get lost a week after they are posted. Keeping your own short list fixes that. A simple four-column sheet works: photo, link, the date you saw it, and a note on size or colour. When a link dies later, the photo still lets you find the item again, either in the app or, through an image search, on Taobao or Weidian. From there an agent can buy it; our Hacoo-to-agent guide covers the routine, and the PDF and Excel page explains how to keep the file usable on a phone.
Save the photo with every link; the photo outlives the link.
Discord, WhatsApp and Reddit compared
Discord servers organise finds by channel, which makes them easier to browse than Telegram, and active moderators tend to remove scam posts quickly. WhatsApp groups are small and fast but unsearchable. Reddit threads come with buyer photos and honest complaints, which is why our page on what Reddit says about Hacoo sheets is a useful counterweight to channel hype. Whichever you use, the rules are the same: dated lists, real photos, and no payments outside the app.
Use Telegram for speed, Discord for order, Reddit for honesty.
Hacoo Telegram questions
Is there an official Hacoo Telegram channel?
We found no Telegram channel that Hacoo itself links to from its app listing or help pages. Hacoo's listed support contacts are an email address and a phone number on its Google Play page. Channels using the Hacoo name are run by creators and resellers, so treat them as third parties: useful for finds, but not a place to send money or personal data.
Why do Telegram channels post Hacoo links instead of spreadsheets?
Because a post with one photo and one link is faster to make and easier to read on a phone than a spreadsheet. Many channels also earn a commission per click or sale, which works better with individual links. The better channels do both: daily posts for new finds, plus a pinned, dated spreadsheet that collects the best of them by category.
What is a Hacoo 'VIP' channel?
It is a paid tier of a link channel, usually promising exclusive or early links. We found no public evidence that paid channels offer products unavailable through free ones, since every link still opens the same Hacoo app. If you try one, pay only through a method with buyer protection and test the first ten links before renewing.
Can I order through someone in a Telegram group?
You can, but check three things first: a full price including delivery quoted in writing, a way to pay per order rather than loading a balance, and photos of your item before it ships. Anyone who can't offer those is asking you to take all the risk. Our own WhatsApp service is built around those three points.
Are WhatsApp and Discord groups any different?
The links are the same; the habits differ. WhatsApp groups are small and personal, so a stale link gets corrected quickly but nothing is searchable later. Discord servers sort finds into channels by category and often have moderators who remove scams. Telegram sits between them: large reach, searchable history and the least moderation of the three.
