Two kinds of "site like Hacoo"
When people search for sites like Hacoo, they usually want one of two things: another app where they pay once and the parcel just arrives, or a way to buy the same cheap goods from China with more control over what ships. Those are different businesses, and mixing them up is how first orders go wrong.
- Direct-buy apps (SHEIN, Temu, AliExpress, DHgate) work like Hacoo. You pay the store or marketplace, it or the seller ships to you, and any problem goes through that platform's own returns or dispute process.
- Shopping agents (KakoBuy, Oopbuy, Superbuy, MyCNBox, USFans) are buyers for hire. They purchase from Taobao, Weidian or 1688, whose sellers mostly do not ship abroad, receive the items in a Chinese warehouse, photograph them, and ship a combined parcel when you are ready.
Hacoo sits in the first group: an app-first retailer with one checkout, one shipping policy and an after-sales window of 15 days from delivery. Our Hacoo vs agents comparison goes through that split in depth; this page lays out the specific alternatives side by side.
Decide first whether you want "same as Hacoo, different shop" or "more control, more steps".
All the options in one table
| Option | How you pay | Photos before shipping | Returns / problems | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Hacoo | Once, in the app | No | Claim within 15 days of delivery | One or two light fashion items |
| SHEIN | Once, app or website | No | SHEIN's own process | Own-brand basics with consistent sizing |
| Temu | Once, app or website | No | Temu's own process | Non-fashion goods, very broad range |
| AliExpress | Once, app or website | No | AliExpress dispute | Comparing many sellers on a computer |
| DHgate | Once, app or website | No | Buyer-protection dispute | Browser-based shopping, seller histories |
| KakoBuy | Item first, shipping later | Yes, ~3–5 free | To the Chinese seller, before shipping | Long hauls, 100 days' storage |
| Oopbuy | Item first, shipping later | Yes, with weight photo | To the Chinese seller, before shipping | Buyers paying by PayPal, Klarna or card |
| Superbuy | Item first, shipping later | Yes, 3 free | To the Chinese seller, before shipping | People who want a written fee table |
| MyCNBox | Item first, shipping later | Yes, 4 + short video | To the Chinese seller, before shipping | Video checks, iDEAL or Klarna |
| USFans | Item first, shipping later | Yes, 3 standard, public | To the Chinese seller, before shipping | Seeing other buyers' photos first |
| Our WhatsApp service | One delivered price, per order | Yes | Agreed before dispatch | Handing the whole process over |
Direct apps win on simplicity; agents win on seeing the item before it travels.
Direct-buy apps: SHEIN, Temu, AliExpress, DHgate
All four let you buy without an agent, and, unlike Hacoo, all four have a full, linked website checkout as well as an app (Hacoo's browser search and cart pages exist but are not linked from its homepage, and we have not tested checking out there). None shows you your actual item before it ships. The differences are in what they sell and how problems are handled.
- SHEIN mostly sells its own brand, so its size charts follow one house system; once you know your SHEIN size, it often holds. Hacoo's sellers each use their own charts. Our SHEIN and Hacoo comparison covers sizing and haul templates.
- Temu sells almost everything, from phone accessories to kitchen tools, where Hacoo leans on fashion. Returns follow Temu's own terms. See Temu compared with Hacoo.
- AliExpress is a marketplace where each seller sets its own shipping, and problems go through AliExpress's dispute process. Links open in any browser, so you can test a list on a laptop. Details in our AliExpress page.
- DHgate began as a wholesale-oriented marketplace and describes a buyer protection model in which payment reaches the seller after delivery is confirmed, with a dispute window. For scale, "hacoo spreadsheet" draws about 3,200 searches a month worldwide in the keyword data we use. See DHgate and Hacoo compared.
If you liked Hacoo's one-payment model, these four keep it; pick by range and by the safety net you trust.
Shopping agents: what each one offers
Agents add steps but give you a look at the item. The figures below come from each agent's own pages, checked on 6 October 2026; all five were open on 5 October 2026.
| Agent | Free storage | Service fee (own pages) | Photos |
|---|---|---|---|
| KakoBuy | 100 days | Agent service free, no handling fees | ~3–5 free (rep.tools); personalised photos ¥2 |
| Oopbuy | 90 days, then ¥10 per 30 days | No service fee | Several angles plus weight photo |
| Superbuy | 90 days, then ¥0.1/item/day, max 180 | None on Taobao, Tmall, JD, 1688; ¥20 per second-hand item from Xianyu, Paipai, Zhuanzhuan | 3 free; detailed ¥2 |
| MyCNBox | 90 days | 0 service fee | 4 free plus ~15 s video |
| USFans | 90 days | Conflicting: help page says none on regular platforms, Service Terms mention 8% | 3 standard, public; detailed ¥1 each |
Two cautions. Oopbuy has look-alike domains, so type its address yourself. Trustpilot has withdrawn the scores of Oopbuy and USFans after removing reviews it judged not genuine, so judge them on other evidence. MyCNBox scored 4.8 from 414 reviews on 6 October 2026, but a directory dates its start to 2025. Each agent has a detailed page in our agent status list.
Storage of 90–100 days and free photos are standard; fee wording is where agents differ, so read it.
How an agent order runs, compared with Hacoo
A Hacoo order has three steps: add to cart, pay, wait. An agent order has more, and knowing them in advance avoids the most common surprise, which is the second payment.
- Paste a product link from Taobao, Weidian or 1688 into the agent's site. Hacoo links do not work in agents, because Hacoo is a retailer, not a marketplace agents buy from.
- Pay for the item and the seller's delivery to the agent's warehouse in China.
- Wait for warehouse photos. This is where you check colour, size labels and visible defects, and ask for a return or exchange with the seller if something is wrong.
- Collect more items while the free storage runs, if you want a combined parcel.
- Choose a shipping line and pay international shipping, priced by weight and sometimes by volume.
- Track the parcel to your door. Once it has left China, returning an item is much harder.
Payment options vary by agent. Oopbuy lists Wise, PayPal (with a 4.5% plus $0.30 charge), cards and Klarna; MyCNBox lists cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna and iDEAL; KakoBuy lists PayPal, Alipay and WeChat. Whatever the method, pay per order rather than holding an account balance, so less money is exposed if anything goes wrong.
Expect two payments and a photo check in the middle; that check is the whole point of using an agent.
What the costs look like in practice
The two models charge in different places. Hacoo includes the item and a basic shipping fee at checkout: £4.99 to the UK, €4.99 to Spain, Italy, France and Germany, A$6.99 to Australia and $7 elsewhere, plus $5 per extra 0.5 kg over 3 kg. An agent charges the Chinese item price and domestic delivery to its warehouse first, then international shipping by weight and line when you ship.
Example, with example prices: a single T-shirt shown at €12 in Hacoo, shipped to Spain, comes to €16.99 before any tax differences. The same style at an example ¥40 on Taobao looks cheaper, but an international parcel with one light item is usually priced well above €4.99, so the agent route rarely wins for one item. Five or six items from different sellers change the sum, because the shipping is spread across the parcel. Our Hacoo vs agent cost calculator lets you enter your own numbers.
Taxes are the same whichever site you choose. In the EU, a temporary flat €3 customs duty applies per item category in low-value IOSS parcels since 1 July 2026, with import VAT from the first euro; ten identical T-shirts are one category, a T-shirt and a cap are two. For a UK consignment of £135 or less, VAT is added at checkout by the seller. In the US, duty-free entry for low-value parcels ended on 29 August 2025.
For one item, Hacoo's flat fee usually wins; for a mixed haul, run the numbers.
Decision rules
- One or two light items, size not critical: stay with Hacoo or a direct app.
- You want consistent clothing sizes: SHEIN's own-brand charts are easier to learn.
- You want to shop on a computer: AliExpress, DHgate, Temu or SHEIN, or any agent website.
- Size or quality matters and you want to see the item first: use an agent, or our service.
- You are combining items from several sellers: an agent, using the 90–100 days of free storage.
- The item is on Hacoo but you want photos: find it on Taobao or Weidian with our guide to moving a Hacoo find to an agent.
- Whatever you choose: pay per order, and don't leave money sitting in any app or agent wallet.
Simple order, direct app; careful order, agent.
Our WhatsApp service as a middle route
Some people want an agent's photos without learning an agent's system. Our WhatsApp service takes a link or screenshot, including one from Hacoo or any app on this page, and replies with one price that includes delivery. We send photos of the actual item before it ships and tracking afterwards, and you pay per order, with no wallet or deposit. It is a separate service from the agents listed here. If Hacoo itself is giving you trouble, our Hacoo troubleshooting guide may solve it first, and our analysis of 200 Hacoo reviews shows which problems are most common.
If you want photos first but not the agent workflow, send us the link.
Hacoo alternative questions
What is the closest alternative to Hacoo?
AliExpress and Temu work most like Hacoo: you pay once, the seller ships directly, and no agent is involved. The main practical difference is that both have a full website checkout as well as an app, while Hacoo is built around its app; its browser shop pages exist but are unlinked. Like Hacoo, neither shows you photos of your actual item before it ships, so for that you need a shopping agent instead.
Which Hacoo alternative shows photos before shipping?
Shopping agents do; direct apps don't. MyCNBox's FAQ, checked on 6 October 2026, lists four free photos plus a video of about 15 seconds per item, Superbuy gives three free photos with detailed ones at ¥2, and USFans makes QC photos public. A problem spotted in those photos can usually be returned to the seller inside China before the parcel leaves.
Are shopping agents cheaper than Hacoo?
Not automatically. Several agents, including Superbuy and MyCNBox, list no service fee on main platforms, but you pay the Chinese item price plus international shipping chosen by weight, as a separate step. For one light item, Hacoo's basic shipping of €4.99 in Spain, France, Germany and Italy is hard to beat. For a heavier mixed haul, an agent's combined parcel can work out cheaper per item.
Is SHEIN a good alternative to Hacoo?
For basic clothing, often yes. SHEIN mostly sells its own brand, so its house size chart tends to stay consistent once you know your size, while Hacoo's sellers each use their own charts. SHEIN also has a website checkout and its own returns process. Hacoo gives 15 days after delivery for after-sales claims. Neither shows your actual item before shipping.
How long do agents store items for free?
From the agents' own pages checked on 6 October 2026: KakoBuy keeps items free for 100 days, Oopbuy for 90 days then ¥10 per 30 days, Superbuy for 90 days then ¥0.1 per item per day up to 180, and MyCNBox and USFans for 90 days. That window is what lets you collect items from several sellers into one parcel.
Do EU customs rules differ between Hacoo and its alternatives?
No. Since 1 July 2026 the EU applies a temporary flat €3 customs duty per item category in low-value B2C parcels up to €150 under IOSS, plus import VAT from the first euro, whichever app or agent you use. How it is collected depends on the shipping method. For UK buyers, the seller collects VAT at checkout on consignments worth £135 or less.
