Collecting finds over months? Basetao's 180-day storage, sea lines and thin review record

The case for Basetao: time

Hacoo shoppers often find things slowly: a jacket in September, boots in October, a bag in November. On Hacoo each becomes its own order with its own shipping fee. An agent can hold them and ship them together, and the longer it holds them free, the more you can bundle. Basetao's own site states 180 days of free storage, among the longest written down by an agent itself on 5 October 2026 (only HubBuyCN's own site states more, 300 days). A directory lists 120 days instead, so confirm the figure in your account, but either is longer than the usual 90.

If you collect over months, storage length is your most valuable term.

Basetao's terms and record

Basetao's searches come mostly from France, Lithuania and the US in the keyword data we use, with about 2,400 monthly searches from France. We could not verify claims about its founding year and don't repeat them.

Long storage and sea freight; thin public feedback.

Sea freight and the slow haul

Sea lines are the cheapest way to move a heavy parcel and the slowest, often taking several weeks. They make sense precisely for the kind of haul long storage enables: many items, collected over months, shipped once with no rush. Hacoo has nothing comparable; its shipping adds $5 per extra 0.5 kg above 3 kg, which gets expensive for heavy winter orders. Before choosing sea freight, check whether the line collects your country's import tax; the Poland and France pages explain the EU rules.

Heavy, unhurried parcels are where Basetao's terms add up.

Bringing Hacoo finds to Basetao

Basetao can't buy from Hacoo. Trace each Hacoo item to a Taobao, Weidian or 1688 listing using its photo, confirm the size chart and material, then paste the address into Basetao's search. For Weidian items our converter builds Basetao's long link format directly. Because Basetao has no app, many people do this part on a computer, which makes image searching and comparing listings easier anyway. The Hacoo-to-agent guide covers the method.

Desktop-friendly tracing suits a desktop-only agent.

Testing an agent with few reviews

1. Start with two or three light items, paid per order.
2. Check how quickly items reach the warehouse and how clear the photos are.
3. Ask support one question and note how fast and clearly they answer.
4. Only then build the larger haul you joined for.

With five public reviews, your first order is the review that matters.

Basetao or Hacoo

For quick, light buys, Hacoo's one checkout and 15-day doorstep returns are simpler. For a slow, heavy haul, Basetao's long storage and sea freight can be much cheaper per item. Put real numbers into our calculator, compare with app-based agents on the status list, or let our WhatsApp service quote a single delivered price.

Fast and light on Hacoo; slow and heavy through Basetao.

Planning a months-long haul

Long storage invites long hauls, and long hauls need a plan. Keep a short sheet with each item's warehouse arrival date, its photos and whether you've approved it. Settle any exchange with the seller within days of the photos arriving, not months later, because sellers relist and move on. Check seasonal items: a summer dress bought in May and shipped in October arrives out of season. And set yourself a ship-by date well inside the free period, whichever figure applies to your account. Our order-tracking template has the columns you need.

Long storage works best with a written ship-by date.

Basetao questions from Hacoo shoppers

How long does Basetao store items for free?

Basetao's own site states 180 days of free storage, checked on 5 October 2026, although the w2cspreadsheet directory lists 120. We go with the agent's own figure but suggest confirming it in your account. Either way, it is longer than the 90 days most agents offer, which helps if you add Hacoo finds to your haul a few at a time over several months.

What fee does Basetao charge?

Basetao's site describes its service fee as 0 to 5 percent, so the rate depends on the order. On €100 of items, that is between nothing and €5. Read the fee line at checkout for your specific items, then compare the full total, shipping included, with a Hacoo order in our calculator before deciding which route to use.

Does Basetao have an app?

Not according to the cnbuypilot directory, and we didn't find one. That's a real difference for Hacoo shoppers, who are used to doing everything in an app. Basetao works through its website, which is comfortable on a computer and usable on a phone browser. If an app matters to you, JoyaGoo, HooBuy and KakoBuy offer them.

Why are there so few Basetao reviews?

Its Trustpilot page, which Basetao hasn't claimed, showed only five reviews and a 4.1 average on 5 October 2026, the newest from 7 November 2025. That is too small a sample to judge service either way. Look for experiences in community threads, and keep your first order small so your own experience becomes the evidence.

Can I put a Hacoo item into Basetao?

Only after finding it on a marketplace. Basetao buys from Taobao, Weidian and 1688, not from Hacoo. Trace the item with an image search, confirm the match, then paste the address into Basetao. For Weidian items, our converter builds the Basetao link in its long format ending in /agent/weidian/item-number.html. Confirm the match first.
